Unhappy browser cache problem

I am loading variables from a MySQL database via PHP using loadVariablesNum, if I run the swf file on it's own I can add, delete records etc, etc.

However, as soos as I take the file into a web browser it seems to cache the first set of variables and amendments that are being made to the database are not being amended on screen.

Has anyone come across this before?

Please help, the browser is IE 5 on a macintosh platform.
