calling a new window from flash problem

I have just made a small site for a friend using flash the calls a new window using ("javascript:window.open('address','',width,height);void(0);") upon clicking on a link.
When the site is access through his actual web address the link works fine, However when you use his forwarded(and prefered) address it cant find the page even when given the full actual address in the link
