hi there, I think once I got into your portfolio I found some impressive stuff but if I hadn't come via the forum I may not have got that far cos the banner ad and whole home page look unprofessional, like someone's geocities homepage they threw together in 2 minutes - considering the quality of some of the stuff inside you're selling yourself short!

regards,

I agree, the layout of the origanal page is rather unimpressive. However, the portfolio was quite nicely done. Might I suggest a free server w/ a less invasive advertisement ploy? Such as freewebs http://www.freewebs.com

They are not particuarly fast, but they have no banners. Just a pop-up which is not too bad. good luck!

also have a look at www.f20.org - it's a fantastic free host/developer community host - php, mysql, coldfusion, flash remoting, loads of space, no banners or popups - amazing! it's a developer community so you have to apply and tell them about what you're doing and why they should support it etc

Hey Guy's Thanks very much for the feedback and information! I have also posted my website on other flash forums, web Develors, graphics artist forums, I got alot of good feedback some was bad, some ideas to improve!! now I can't make anyone happy! but I'm in process of redesigning the index.htm page into flash so it a cool neat look! And as for the f2o.org, Sound great but not accepting anymore new accounts! But in a few weeks I'm am going to have a paid webhosting that have no banner, and extra features! As for now I made the banner a pop up so atleast you can get rid of it and don't worry about it again! Thanks guy adn Gals

I'm going to agree with everyone else about the home page -- it could definately use some work. As for the rest, I couldn't see it; I don't have Flash. Maybe something you want to take into account. Of course, if you're pushing your Flash skills, Flash is the only way to go. In that case though, I'd make the entire site Flash.

good idea. But as I'm sure you know, flash can be made to load quickly, as long as you don't overdo it on the graphics/animations.

It'd be nice to have links to actual sites, rather than looking at shrunk down screenshots of your work in the potfolio - a static image doesn't do either an animation, or a flash application any justice at all.

However, it looks like you have good skills - I especilally like the 3D work. It's always fun to see nicely rendered/raytraced 3D models.

Do you have a deviant page?

No, I do not have deviant page, I'm in the process of redoing the website in Flash. I'm just working out the creative aspect of the website! which sometime it's NOT fun! As for the Static picture, I do agreed needs to be clickable to view the picture in larger format! that be in the added in the website! there are other thing's I'm redo in the website. just I'm going to take my time and get it right! What I'm looking for is a tutorial for a slide picture flash! What I mean is, You have two arrows left and right, the end user can put their curse over the left or right arrow and the pictures slide across the viewing area, and it's loops. When a image in set in the middle, the end user can click on "View" and load up the picture in a differnce window! That what I'm looking for! Can anyone help me with that, I just need a tutorial (in english) that can give me the need information to do that!! thanks!
