Creating games like Hangaroo in Flash!!

Hi!!! All,

I have a list of questions regarding the game Hangaroo!!!! or a similar word quiz game....

1. Is this game created in Flash or not?

2. If this is created in Flash then can anybody please guide me how it can be done. I am interested in making a standalone quiz game which can be distributed to people on Cd's etc. Is Flash MX the right tool to do this?

I would be grateful if somebody can help me out with this.

I am not interested in running a server etc.. I would like to have all the questions in a text file or something like that....

Flash mx would probably get the job done for you. It supports unicode so it will handle any lang. You can use the projector option to make it standalone. It is tone practice for chinese but its pretty simple. It loads the words and names of sound files from a unicode txt file.

Things that are more graphics intensive probably should be done with shockwave. I think Macromedia Director is what make those files.
