display a flash file within an image cell

I am Neeraj , a software engineer. I am basically into frontend kind of development.Could you tell me how to embed a flash file into an image cell.
I can explain it to via a scenario.
I have a flash file. And there is a JSP file which has an image cell tag. When i click on this image cell.A pop up comes up which has a browse option with which i select the flash file. And when i say ok then it should embed the flash file and display it in the image cell. I would be obliged if you could guide me or tell me how to do it.

Whether you are putting the flash file in a jsp file or an asp file, it doesn't matter. Flash is run on the client and JSP is a server side technology so just keep that in mind. About putting the flash movie in an image cell, it just isn't possible. Flash movies go are embedded into pages via the <object> and/or the embed tag. They don't go in <img> tags. <img> tags are for images. Just like ovens are for cooking and not blending. There are however ways to get around it with some Action Scripting. But basically you would have to embed the flash movie, have the flash movie pop up your new window for people to choose a movie, then you can send it back to page below it and change the flash movie. However, only with Internet Explorer on windows will this work, because IE uses ActiveX to embedd its movies, and you can control the flash movie via some activeX controls. However, describing to you exactly how to do this would take quite a bit of time, but you can find out how to do it all if you do some research. There are flash tutorials all over the net. Check flashkit, they have tons of them. And you can always search google for information. Good luck
