Dont load pictures until needed

I am making a small flash for my friend to display her art work. The pictures are around 1Mb and there are 4 of them. I am going to have 4 links to them. Is there a way of loading everyting apart from the pictures until u click on the link or do you have to make it load another flash file ???

If you can do it without loading another flash file is there a way of having a loading bar for the main layout and seperate ones when you load the pictures ?

Hi, if your using Flash 5 or later you can dynamically load jpeg images as you would shockwaves. You can use thisMovie.loadMovie("myjpeg.jpg"); to load the image into "thisMovie". Then you can have a preloader for the main site and then later on seperate ones for each of the images.
