dynamically loaded htmltxt and scrollbar

First timer with a probably newbie question.

I'm using Flash to get html text to display itself in a textbox. Everything works fine until I put the scrollbar component on the textbox, whereupon the HTML code itself shows up, rather than formatting the text. Deleting the scrollbar fixes the problem, but I want the scrollbar on there. What is happening?

I always thought that this was an impossibility until I found this article at URL Check it out, you will be happy.
