external swfs plz help big trouble

hi every1 ive been having trouble with this i searched the net for tutoirals but i couldnt find any at all. i have 3 swf fils so far my main move(root) which i used for my intro n my background my navigation which loads rite beneath my main movie background image n i used loadmovie to get it btw im using empty movie clips to load them now on my navigation i made a buttonand i am trying to make the button so that after u click it it loads another movie over the main move(root) and replaces the background image i did it with levels but i cant postion levels so whats the script i should put for mcholder n where do i put it thanks for ur input

Not sure what you mean. If you can load an external *swf into a "container_mc" for your change in content, then all you have to do is position that mc around the stage, just do the same for your bg - it automatically replaces any previously loaded movies.

Or just give it a few commands, such as onlCipEvent (load){ this._x = 50;, this._y =100;} - prehaps i am missing the mark here, post a *fla or something so i can help you out a little better.

thans for answering back but what i mean is can you load an swf into a different 1 ? my site is made up of 2 parts the background image navigation, but the navigation and the background are 2 different swfs i linked thru loadmovie n mc clip im asking how you load a movie over the background image , you can use levels but cant reposition the levels i hope this clears things up a little
