Externally Loaded Sounds

I know preloading external sounds defeats the purpose of having external sounds.

I am playing external mp3 files using the loadsound() with streaming so the file will start playing.

Now what I am looking for is not a preload script but a script which alerts the user that the file is buffering then states playing once it starts playing.

What I have created starts playing the mp3 file about 3-4 seconds after you hit the play button.

Is there something out there or can someone point me into the right direction.
