Hi Everyone,
I work for a translations company (in between stints as a web developer) as a software engineer and a large part of my job recently involves getting text out of flash files to translate them before placing them back again. ...So a tool that could do this would be really helpful as some of the files i have to work with can be several thousand frames long and have hundreds of layers and stupidly big (often unorganised) libraries. Does anyone know of a product that can do this? Thanks in advance for any help you can give on this... Dan.

Well...you could try the publish options of flash....
if you publish with this, the html file produced contains all the text used in the swf file, in comment tags, it does not show in which frame or anything but just alle the text used like so: <!-- text used in the movie--> <!--testing txt with swf -->
