fading transparency of imported images
I'm brand new at Flash 5, and I have found I can fade the transparency of TEXT with the mixer, but when I import an image, the mixer ALPHA doesn't seem to affect the transparency of the image: it's always at 100.
If I want to fade an image, from say, invisible to 100% opacity over say 5 or 10 frames, how can I accomplish this? Do I need to go into Photoshop and export transparent images at each step? Or can Flash 5 accomplish the same for me? Thanks in advance, shawn ![]() |

first make the image an instances, make it a graphic, after this you can assign alpha to it

Just remember that the images must be tweened...
