I've just recently gotten into Flash, and thought I could combine it with PHP/MySQL. Seems like I've got some hours ahead of me trying to learn how to deal with Flash, and this forum could come in handy...

Hope lots of people use it (especially the gurus).

There is nothing but image on my page either (that is whenever it is up, which is prolly 10% )

Talking off topic - but I had to reply...
It's mostly to annoy people...

No, but seriously, every time I say to myself: now I've gotta do something about that page, some other project comes along and prevents me from completing it. And since I won't make any money of it... And life goes on anyway...
I've got the layout finished, some of the contents ready, but I refuse to put anything up before I consider it somewhat finished...

it really annoyed me, let me accept.

Cause so many times I have clicked on www on ur post just to see that image.

btw seems like you are getting lot of projects. If you dont mind, I am right now a bit short of project ( infect none of them right now ) and I need some money too. so do one thing , Outsource your projects !!!!! Trust me I would do quality work in cheap rates.

I do believe that you would produce high quality products, but the problem is that most of this work is for the same company/ies (which I can't/won't outsourse), and some of the other stuff is for free...
So I'm not so sure that you would benefit from this...
But I'll keep you in mind if anything comes along.

Yeah, glad this one is finally here.
I've just started using Flash about 4 months ago.
Great stuff. Works very well with PHP if you design a simple class to interface with it.
(i.e. have a class with functions to add variables to an associative array on that object ,then when it's done have some sort of send_respose() method that strings the variables together onto a url encoded string for flash to read).

Question Flash-only? or Flash and Flash-related (e.g. Flash/PHP/MySQL/etc.)
I just want to know if I should be using this forum for posting my Flash/PHP/MySQL/etc. questions, or if they should go in the PHP forum?

In other words, is this forum really just for the "How do I use this built-in Flash function (like 'Creating Symbols', etc.)" questions, or does it also include all the "How do I send my Flash variables to a PHP script and have MySQL query results from the PHP script sent to my Flash movie" kinds of questions too?

I just want to make sure I'm using the right forum the kinds of problems I encounter. Thanks!
