Flash and Quicktime

hey people, ive been searching but cant find nothing which wil help me. I'm quickly making a little site for tupacs new film, and have Just Started and will be having it in a html file so its come out at the right side but what I want to know it. For my trailer, I have a .mov file (10mb) and was hoping someone can tell me how I would place this in the flash site.

The size is fine, and will fit in the little space I have for content but not sure how to place it there. The default quicktime controls are fine and for it to appear like it would in a html page would be excellent. Anyone able to help please?

Thanks

Edit: I'm using Flash mx2004 professional.

EDIT 2: ok, ive managed to get the video in and converted to a video clip but now I cant get controls for it. , I have playback buttons with behaivors to stop the video clip instance 'film'. (the 'linkage' I set for the trailer), but when clicked it stop the flash movie and not the imported movie clip, someone please help!

Use the new flash video format. Take your .mov file (uncompressed version), then use something like QuickTime Pro to export it as a .flv file.

You get a Flash Video Exporter install with the Flash MX 2004 application. This works on several movie packages - I used QuickTime pro as its cheap and native (for export only).

You can then use the MediaPlayback components from within flash to view the movie.

The flash movie screen + controls sit in your page nicely, and you have more control over the playback without the fuss of activeX bugs like you get with Windows Media Player and QuickTime browser plugins.
