Flash window "X" control

Is there a way, whereby i can insert the flash movie in an application built in VB or VC. and if so, how would I be able to control the window properties of the Flash movie ( ie. the width could be resized...etc.. ) so that the design ( content ) inside the movie is not resized. I need only the width of the .SWF file to change with the size of the original Appication.

Have any ideas, pls help. Thank U All.
