getting the target URL from flash button
Hi,
Could you please help me with this little trouble here. I have pluigged a flash buttons in my webpage using Dreamweaver, but when i edit the generated HTML manually i seem to be unable to find the url it points to in the HTML code. How can i get to it? Basically i need a servlet to handle the request from the button. Is it possible to (re)set the target URL for the flash button directly using HTML without the Dreamweaver? Thanx lots for your help and time, Cheerio, Ilya. Last edited by parilia : August 1st, 2003 at 11:48 PM. |

dont really get what youre on about, but if you have a button in flash, the instructions for what it does are in flash too, you can only edit them using a flash editor like mx.

no, flash buttons is an extension for dreamweaver, and hence, this is a dreamweaver question, not a flash one. Post it in a different forum. I've never used flash buttons for dreamweaver, but here's what I would do. Look for the url the button is linking to in the html and change it. If you can't find it in the html, it must be embedded in the flash, and you will need dreamweaver to change it.
