Help sizing flash & html
Hi im a bit of a n00b in flash and good do with some advice.
i have a flash anim that is 800(w) x (505)(h).
i created a HTML document and set the object parameters to make the flash 600x400 so it fitted all resolution fron 800x640 upwards.
ive tested the html up to a resolution of 1280 x 1024 and it works fine for me on my 17" monitor.
however my friend tested it on a mac at his work place on a res of 1280 x 960 and said that the animation appears to be the size of a business card and the text is not readable. this is not the case for me when i tested that res aswell.
what am i doing wrong? hwo can i fix this problem?
Nell
P.S. also if i just used <embed src="hi.swf"> the flash dosent go to the regular size, but a really small size version. i thought that could be the problem so I thought id increase the size of the flash5 anim, but it wont let me have more than 2800 pixels or something.
