Hi
I'm not that great at the technical stuff about computers, however I do know when something is wrong. I had flash until recently and now its just gone, I don't know what happened to it. When I go into many websites that contain flash, I simply cannot veiw them. So I click the button that says something like "Don't have Flash? Click Here" and it re-directs me to the Macromedia Flash site to download it. Then I click to download it and get to this screen URL where it's supposed to open up so I can accept the user agreement and it will start downloading, but nothing happens. It says that the page is "Done, but with errors on page." and that's all that happens. The error comes up with these details which I wouldn't have a clue what they mean. Char: 32 Error: Object doesn't support this property or method Code: 0 URL: URL If someone could please help me out I would be ever so greatfull! John |

Sounds like you do need to reinstall the plugin.
The trouble you are having on the Macromedia site may have something to do with your java plugin. Try updating to a new java plugin version over at http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/ . The only other thing I can think of is someone has changed your securiting settings. |

If you haven't already resolved....
Go to the Macromedia site, search on 'object doesn’t support this property or method download'. The resolution is to delete a registry entry. It worked for me. Regards ![]() |

Hi, you could try following the guidlines linked to from here to remove any current player files you have. Using the same link you could then either try installing the latest player again or try installing an older one and then upgrading it. I used this page to try my site out with each plugin and it worked for me.
For the sake of clarity the above link is to the macromedia archive for older player plugins. |
