Import movie into scene

I have two flash movies (Flash 5.0 for windows 2000), which are each made up of one scene (step1.fla and step2.fla). I want to take scene 1 of step2.fla and bring it into scene 2 of step1.fla and play them in step1.fla as one movie with 2 scenes. How do I go about this? I have tried importing the movie, cutting and pasting etc., and I cannot figure it out.

Yes this is a pain to do. First open the "step1.fla" and create a new "scene2". Then open "step2.fla". Open up the libraries for each of the movies and select everything in "step2.fla" library, then click and drag it to the "step1.fla" library. Finally go back to "step2.fla" and select all the animation frames. Do "Edit"->"Copy Frames (or Ctrl+Alt+C) then go to "step1.fla"-"scene2", click on the first frame in the movie and do "Edit"->"Paste Frames" (or Ctrl+Alt+V).

That should be it. Sometimes this messes up for me but most of the time it works. This is the only way I know to keep the original tweens.
