Maybe the player is old version
If you send the swf file made by Flash Mx,your friend will not play it with the old version player.
One way is telling your friend to download the new version player. You can also tell your friend to download a third party browser to view movie with no worry about player version. SWF Media Browser maybe a good choice. |

windows.exe
I’m not sure but I think if you publish the file as a “windows.exe” it creates the file with the player or a player built in. The file you get is a stand alone executable and is considerable larger than the file would be if you published it as just a swf. file.
