Library Conflicts
I'm using Flash MX and am trying to cut and paste multiple symbols from one file into another. The problems I'm encountering are probably best described in context...
I'm going for a multiple panel comic strip. The file being pasted into is the panel file. The file being used is the character file. For each panel, the character's expression or pose is different, but I'm using the same library to mold and alter said expressions and poses.
Naturally, I'm encountering problems in doing this, because there are multiple instances of the symbol and the character file's library now in the strip file. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to fix this. Once the symbol is pasted into the strip file, it doesn't need to be altered, so really all I need is to paste a sort of "photograph" of the character file's state. I'm curious if there's any way I can do this while still maintaining a vector graphic (i.e., I don't want to resort to bitmaps.)
If anyone can help out, I'd be indebted forever.
