thats easily answered.....look in the properties window at the bottom of the screen if you are using Flash MX, and look for the chain looking thing....and put the URL or file you want to link to in there (make sure when you insert a URL...that you put the URL)

when you want to link the button....just look in the bottom properties window...and type in the whole URL for the site/link you are looking for
