Flash CS3 - Live streaming?

Extremely new to flash and trying to develop a flash player for live streaming using AS3. I have successfully acomplished this using AS2 which has the .islive in the component inspector but that option is not in AS3. i want to use the full screen mode available in AS3. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
I used the tutorial on adobe but not sure if added the action correctly.

Do you have Adobe Flash CS3 or 4? Because it will be easy to make such a live flash player in flash cs3 or 4.
However, Flash CS is commercial software and would be a little expensive (nearly 1 thou bucks).
A free tool called Moyea web player can also do this. It has a RTMP Stream plugin which enables you can play live stream on flash video player - http://www.playerdiy.com/configuration/addons/rtmp.html
