loading variables

(in Flash MX) I have been trying to get a variable from a txt file somehow I have been able to get the variable but now I want to know if there might be a way to save the variable back into the txt file, anyone who might be able to help me I would appreciate the help.

Macromedia Flash Player cannot write to a text file
