Can anyone help me? When I try to loadMovie the swf appears to load, but doesn't play properly. All I get is like one frame and it is white. I need to load it into an MC so I can position it properly, I have tried using loadMovieNum to specify a depth, it plays normally when I do this but I have no control over its placement on the stage. Any help would be awesome.

load the external swf into an instance of a movie clip. then you can move that movieclip to your heart's content.
another way is to make the external swf's stage size the same as your main swf's. move objects on your external swf to where you want them (using your main's as a guide). |

Thanks a lot dude. I think I will just change the size of it, cause when I try to load it into a movie, it doesn't work properly. I know it is loading however, but when it gets to parts of it that have scripting in it stuff like _root.gotoAndPlay(2) screws it up. But when I simply load it into a level using loadMovieNum it works fine. Weiirrrrrdd.... Thanks for your help.
