Mask as an image
I am doing my course work for uni in web media and I have chosen Flash as part of it. I need make an interactive picture, where when you hover over the image with a mouse (which looks like glasses/eyes ''OO'') it reveals another image underneath, but only in that are of OO. So you see one image on top, but the other image that is invisible and a spot gets revealed when the user hovers over with the mouse.
I made it with a mask, but when I cross a particular part, the mask/top image moves with the mouse, but I want to it to stand still (so the user can explore both images on top of each other). Do you reckon I should not do it with a mask and is there a way I can achieve it?
Using CS6, ActionScript2
Hope you can help! Otherwise I am lost with my project

You need to have two different objects - a mask and a layer revealing the second image. You'll have to be able to move only the mask object while keeping the object with the image intact.
Did I understand you right?
