Masking problem when viewed in browser
I am sort of a newbie to Flash. I have created an intro for a website I am designing. It starts with a masking effect over some text. However the mask will not display in the swf file (or in a browser). The text is 'impact' font and I have read somewhere that Flash has problems with text and masks or something. I have tried breaking the text apart but to no avail. I am tearing my hair out with this one!!!! Any help is greatly appreciated.... I have the .fla file available if anyone is interested in helping (please!)

Hi, I don't think you can mask dynamic text. If your breaking it apart then I'm not sure off the fly what's wrong. Post the zipped fla or a link to it and I'll check it out later today.
ps. I'm using MX so MX or earlier fla is necessary.
