mx firefly components
Has anybody besides me tried out the firefly components for mx? I think it has made connecting to any xml source, sql server or other database for that matter rediculously easy and is a huge step for flash web applications. Thoughts?

I am glad I have found someone that has actually looked at firefly. I have been loking here and there and now one has used it.
I am new to flash and found connecting the connector/datasource was very easy. I still have problems passing data from page to page and it is not very well documented. It always seems to be me trying to reference the variable before flash has had time to actually define the value. Have you looked at the new flash mx 2004? The person I work with says they have removed the datasource connector and you now have to pass the information into an xml connector. I am trying to find someone now that has actually done this so I can get a base to start playing with bringing the data into the connector. any documentation or direction would be appreciated. thanks, |

I was curious if you had any in depth articles or a book on Firefly usage you could recommend. Since they integrated it into Flash MX 2004, the standalone version may not get much play.
