Need help with level0

Site

So I have my main movie, and then when users click on a button on my photos page, it loads another movie of pictures in either level1 or a target.

The problem I am having is this. When a user loads the movie, the buttons on the picture page get hidden.

I cant get the buttons to reappear when I close the movie.

ive tried _level0.allButtons._visible = true
and _root.allButtons._visible = true

but neither of them work. allButtons is the name of my button instance...

Please help! I cant get this stupid thing to work at all!

is the layer below the other layer on the main time line ..this can cause this to happen =hidden ..

i dont understand what you are asking?

I am trying to control what happens on level 0 from level 1....

the buttons on level 0 are on a higher layer than the movie that loads the second movie...

the holder for the movie however is on the top layer of the main movie....

what are you talking about with hidden?

Also click on my site link in the first post to see what I mean.... then goto the pic page and click on either europe or soccer...

i ahve seen this many times before ..layer 1 with btn's and layer 2 on top =above layer 1 and the btn's not showing up ....that is what i am taling about ,,
but it sounds like U should maybe post your fla ..so we/i can have a look at it .

It really frosts my cookies that all of a sudden it was working for me and I dont know what it was that I did to make it work.....

now I dont know what code I have in there that made it work...

well I guess I was wrong.... now I goto the site again and it doesnt work.... how aggrivating

for the life of me, I dont understand it.... if you goto my site in the first post and click on the soccer button, everything works... when I download that exact SWF file to my desktop and run it, then it doesnt work.... it doesnt work out of a web browser either... but it will work out of that link.... and I even cleared my IE cache to make sure...

still no more success with it at all..... I dont know what the hell to do.......

well I think I got it working....

for whatever reason, it wont work in the stand alone flash player in windows, but when I upload it to the net, it works just fine.... makes no sense to me, but since im only gonna have it online, its an acceptable solution.......
