New to flash help
Simple question, tried browsing around to find my answer but couldn't find one.
I made a flash movie with 18 frames. I wanted to convert it to .GIF (while still being able to play in a loop), I wanted to use that as a buddy icon or avatar. Thanks to anyone who helps. Cheers. |

Hi, I'm not sure what your asking. Do you want someone to convert it for you?

Try Publish Options > Formats or Export Image (I forget which allows you to export as animated gif - possibly both).

Sorry, publishing in the different formats wasn't my problem. Sorry, been really sick. I am having troubles with my file size. Compressing the file is what I am having trouble with. Right now the file is at 24.2 kb and I wanted to get it to 7 kb. I took out a couple frames and it improved it about 6 kb, but I can't take out anymore. Can anyone help? I have googled and used the Macro Flash Index. I think the question I am asking might be worded wrong, so that's why I'm not getting any clear results.
Thanks to anyone who can help. |

Hi, try running your gif through fireworks. Whenever I notice a graphic getting a bit hefty I do that and normally find a minor size reduction on export.
