on release, tell btn B 2stay at "over" state til btn C tells it 2go back to normal?
what do I need to do, what script do I add to make this happen.
to control a buttons state and to make it go back to normal function when needed. TIA

Flash will not allow you to use actionscript to hold a button's state nor can the actionscript itself be located inside the state. However you can use actionscript to disable a button and to detect clicks. You can also use actionscript outside of your button to control movie clips outside of the button's state. This is useful for simulating different things.
