Pausing a Song

Hello,

I'm trying to create a basic music console for my website. So far, it includes the most basic things: a Stop and Play button for the song. I have a restart button, which just refreshes it sort of, so it starts over. I was just wondering if there is a way to pause the song, since there is no action that is "pause". Also a timer that shows the duration of the song would be nice. So if anyone knows how to pause a song in flash or create a time elapsed timer, your help would be appreciated!
