Pixel Art in Flash MX?
A few sites I've seen recently that use Flash have detailed pixel art, a good example being Digital Phantom .
Now, I'm not planning to go as in depth with my scripting and design, but I was wondering if there was an easy way to keep the pixels crisp, especially like the button menu at the top. Every time I've tried my hand at simple pixel grids, buttons, and the like, they always come out blurry; even through fine tuned placement. Does anyone here know an easy way to get around this? Thanks to anyone that can help. Note: I use Flash MX Professional 2004. |

Hi, isnt that just the colors you use? Some combos can give optical illusions such as blurring that doesnt really exist. I'm not sure if your using the movie clip drawing methods or just hand drawn graphics. In either case you would want to use mini boxes instead of lines for each pixel otherwise they will have rounded edges that could be perceived as blurry...
