Flash CS3 - Problem with Loading JPEG's in Flash

Hi, I followed the tutorial set out in the tutorial titled "Dynamically loading JPEG" at lukamaras dot com. But when i load the images, it doesn't display them properly. The image that gets displayed is as if lines have been drawn across....it is actually the first verrtical lines of the image being drawn all across the page.

Any help regarding the same would be a great help. I have already gone throu the code so many times and redid the whole tutorial in vain. #
