Problems attachMovie and onPress function w LSO
Okay,
I've attached a few movieClips, and put in onPress functions for each. The first problem is that none of the clips acts like a button (ie no hand cursor over it). So, obviously no action can take place. I'm trying to then set a Local Shared Object from each, but that too, is not working....guessing it is simply b/c the actions are not taking hold. I would copy and paste my script here, but it is so simple that I know there is nothing wrong with it, and suggestions about what may be the cause? Thanks in advance. |

but doesn't mc's take on the behavior of buttons in MX nowadays?
eta: actually, that was a badly phrased question. I meant to say, there's really no need for "buttons" instances anymore since the mc's can do what buttons can and more. Last edited by dkkz : August 19th, 2003 at 10:01 PM. |

I don't think so, I think you have to specify it like that in the properties panel. I could be wrong though.
