Resizing Input Text fields so font doesnt shrink

What are the steps to resize an input text field so that the font does not shrink in size?

I have my input fields created in a movie clip called "form" . I want to change the size of one of the fields, the comment field. When I do that, the font shrinks. I noticed it when I typed in the field to test it while it is online.

See it here: www.steadyscene.com (click on contact)

As it stands right now, the size of the input text field is too large and the font is fine. The minute I change the size of that box, the font gets all small.

Please advise!

Cheers,
Daniel

I had the same thing happen to me. Does anyone know what causes that? I had to make the text boxes twice as big as I thought they should be in order for the text to look the right size. Since I had two text boxes, I put them overlapping and the result was okay, but I don't know if there is anything to prevent it.

Tann was nice enough to provide a solution for me. It makes perfect sense too.

Here it is:

"If you scale a text box using the scaling tool then it will distort. If you double click to edit the text box and then drag and resize it using the mini circle or box next to it, then it wont distort. This can be a pain though getting it to exactly the right size. If you size it using actionscript it wont distort"

Hope that helps you,

Daniel
