retrieving contents of flv file

I need to retrieve first frame of flv file ant to convert it into image (let's say jpg or bmp) and to get sound as any sound format (amr or midi would be great). On the other hand it could be usefull to get image capture from webcam attached to workstation and sound from microphone (but also in some standard format for image and sound) and have them saved.

Please help me
