ActionScript 2 - Swf goes blank after print - need help

I have a flash movie (developed by 3rd party 6 yrs ago) that is embedded in html. The flash has a print button that opens the browser print dialog box. In IE and FF, after the user prints, the swf goes blank in the page. It functions properly in Chrome. The swf uses Action Script 2.0. And it doesn't create .bmp to print.
