textscrollers don't work

i have created a website in flash mx 2004 and on some computers, some of the text scrollers (not all, though) don't work. the dynamic text box, the text inside, and the scroll bar are all present, but the text does not scroll and the scroll bar looks as if it is not activated, becuase there is no scroll thumb. when i check on other computers computers, they all work fine.

URL

the sections in question are "about" and "press". "menus" seems to work fine
the site consists of an html index with an embedded swf that loads to a swf which contains 9 movies for each section. i am new to this, so i might not be setting it up right. i have 9 empty movie clips on the main stage with the telltarget and gotoframe actions to load the corresponding movie. this seems to work fine to keep my buttons loading the movies allright, but i wonder if it's effecting the scroll bars.

any help is SO appreciated!

Lightbulb Scrollbar component may work better...

Hi,

It worked when I took a look at the site, but I think you may have more success with the scroll bar component.

I have attached a sample file for you to look at, you can just copy and paste the scrollbar if you want.

As far as style you can also adjust the alpha, tint, etc., of the scroll bar.

Best of all, there is no coding needed to implement, just name the target.
