Does anyone know why the quality of imported wav files is much lower then the quality of the mp3 version of that file? The quality is perfect when I play my wav files in winamp, but once imported in flash it's just terrible...

When you publish your movie flash will optimize the sound files to the setting in "publish settings". Check the settings there and increase them to the desired quality.
Wavs take up a lot more space, and therefore take longer to download, than mp3s so don't use them unless you have to. |

I use mp3 if possible, but wav is better for loops: with mp3 you have jumps between the repeats...
Thanks, I'll have a try! |
