Windows Media Manager with Flash 8 (mms://)
Hello all,
I am working on a project at the moment, which requires videos to be pulled from a remote Windows Media Server via the mms:// protocol. I am basically wondering how easy it is to embed these videos in a Flash movie. My concern is what Flash will say about getting a file from a remote source? I've always worked with locally stored content (As far as I can remember). Just wondering if anyone has has experience with this! Thanks for listening and I appreciate any feedback. |

Are there any information about this topic?
I want to do exactly this thing: I have an MMS Server which streams over the mms:// protocol. This works fine with the embeded Windows Media Player... But for Multi-Browser/Multi-OS Support, Flash would be a better solution. greetings + thx dataCore |
