ActionScript 2 - Flash Resources
I thought it was about time we had a list of useful flash sites in an attempt to stop the same topics being posted again and again. So here are some sites which are well worth visiting for developer resources. If you know of any other useful flash sites or resources; please either post them in this thread or PM me and I'll add them to the list.

I am really surprised that nobody mentioned ultrashock.
It is one of the best sites for flash developers of all skill levels. The tutorials, although few, are amazing, and very easy to follow. The community on the site is full of professionals and experts very willing to help. I strongly recommend checking it out.

FlashVars Translator
Quote: This is a useful HTML page that you can download and run locally. It can be used to properly format a text-file so that it can be loaded into Flash dynamically.
It translates variables into a suitable format (URL encoded). The translation works both ways too. | Example:
Code:
// type in your vars:
var1=Hello
var2=You & Me
var3=This is cool
success=1
// translated to:
var1=Hello&var2=You%20%26%20Me&var3=This%20is%20cool&success=1

I'm locking this thread as ActionScript 2 was superseded over 5 years ago by ActionScript 3. There is a seperate thread for AS3 resources here.
~2003-2006~
RIP ActionScript 2
