    Keyboard's key down problem

    HI all,
    First of all thanks for reading my msg. My problem is that the Key object doesn't listen to the "," and "." keys on the keyboard. Sameway it also doesn't listen to the printscreen key.

    Can anyone tell me how to trace these keys. getAscii() and getCode() didn't work.

    Thanks in advance,
    Vivek

    If you are testing in the authoring environment, then there are hotkeys for that environment that will be 'disabled' for key detection.

    Try selecting the 'Disable Keyboard Shortcuts' option in the Control menu of the testing environment.

    After you've done that you can use this code to test those keys::
    PHP Code:
    kl = new Object();
    kl.onKeyDown=function(){

    trace(Key.getCode());
    }
    Key.addListener(_root.kl);
