Somebody is offering me a hosting offer, but they told me I need a domain first. If somebody here is able to get me a free domain, I would be very greatfull.

    Of course,
If you buy one of our small Reseller Plans (1&2) for 4 months,
Or our Big Reseller Plans (3&4) for 3 months,
you can get an international (Net/Com/Org/Biz) domain for free!
And if you take our Website Advanced or Professional Plan you can get an international (Net/Com/Org/Biz) domain in 50% of reduction (7$ insted of 14$)!
And if you take our Website Basic Plan you can get an international (Net/Com/Org/Biz) domain in 25% of reduction (10.5$ insted of 14$).

    Regards,
    LazerTekk Sales Team.

no no, I already have space, I just need a domain name for it, and the whole point is that I don't want to spend any money.

You could try using a .uni.cc domain, which are free, but why not just by a domain? They're only like $8/yr at Go Daddy.

    6.95$/yr
GoDaddy success made them reduce the price for .com domains.

Heck if it wasn't for the ads on Dev Shed for GoDaddy and iPowerWeb, I would've never known about it either...though with mine I also bought the WHOIS privacy protection thing...I think that is a also a major plus, even if it does cost me an extra $9-10 / year. GO DEV SHED!

Yeah, I was considering getting that. But then no-one ever calls me or emails me so it might be nice to get some contact from people

    Domains

If you are buying the privacy guard at godaddy, check out buying a domain at namecheap it's $8.88 + 4.88 to protect 2 domains, cheaper than godaddy at $6.95 + 9.00 save a bit of money...
