Question free mysql host for 1 database for a forum
i want to set up a invision board for my site..but i dotn have mysql...i tried to install it on freesql.org but it a rule on there is no boards

Remote Access? We have software which allows the creation of MySQL databases and tables, which is within his member area. Is that what you meant?

No. If I understand the question correctly, the user wants to run the forum scripts on the hosting company he already has, yet have a remote database (since he doesn't have one from his host). So you would have to give him permission to connect remotely from his site to your machine with the database on it...

Ok I see what you mean. I believe we could offer that. We could give him a sub domain which is used for the boards if that failed. I`m not 100% sure how to get PHP to connect to a remote SQL database, as I`ve never had to do it, but if its possible, we`ll allow it.

I think it's pretty clear in the title that the users are searching for free things. However, that doesn't stop the good 'ole hosting companies from answering any and every thread, even though they're not offering it for free.
