I'm interested in hosting with 100MB, reasonable bandwidth, no ads and ftp account for a friend's personal site with blog. I think 500Mb isn't so much bandwidth. I could say, I need enough bandwidth

I would like to have php and mysql, but they aren't essentials. I would like php because I can do this: http://www.shroogle.net/kelon/index2.php If you can provide directory listing, no php is needed.

Only 500MB of bandwidth? I don't know how much I need, but since I'll put some pictures, maybe 500 MB wouldn't enough, because I had about 200 people accessing http://www.freewebs.com/kelon/ada/ and the 500MB bandwidth wasn't enough. I won't su** your bandwidth at all

Personally I don't want the gMail accounts since my company has quite a number of servers already. GalacNet should be able to host you but are you willing to place ads on your site instead of the trade with gmail accounts?

If you can't face the facts, then YOU shouldn't be saying anything.

Promoting that crap, knowing that they are incompetant and have ripped people off, makes you just as guilty as they are.



I would have to assume then that you haven't been doing this long enough to know any better or you have an interest in that sh*t or you just aren't too bright.

It might also be of interest to others considering a new host that this is a bunch of 15 year old kids with a reseller account or dedicated server or something similar.
And the service level is typical of what you might expect from a group of over empowered teenagers.

I really thought they'd be gone by now but reading recent complaints in their forums, I see the same nonsense is still going on.
Acceptance emails sent from fake addresses, switch and bait offers, support emails not answered(no such person or contact exists), accounts that are never activated despite notices saying they are....
excuses.. "oh that was an old offer.." "Oh that offer was only good for our other host..." "Oh I don't know how that offer got there..." " oh that should have said(insert excuse here)"

OK, well I guess tis is a free forum so everyone is entilted to their opinions. But with MY experience they are good. Sure a while back they had some probs that ticked me off, but now they are fine.
