Exclamation in need of free web hosting
i require up to 40Mgb Web Space, 1Gb Bandwith, and MySQL Databases. I dont mind ads but would prefer to do without them. the more of the above the better.

Domain names require hosting too. You are looking for a virtual host. not a normal web host.

what do you mean? i have a zelda site i want to get onto the web. i have no domain name thats why im looking for hosting.

A virtual host is someone that will give you a subdomain on their site.


forinstance, yourdomain.theirdomain.com. (a virtual account)

typical web hosting is for www.theirdomain.com

apehost.galacvalley.com can except no mysql databases. but we also offer asp.

Duh nothing! Domains simply point to the IP address of your host. You can have one that points to nothing, and then set it up when you get a host.

Wrong. A 'virtual host' is a way to run multiple client's websites on one Apache server. You are thinking of a 'subdomain'.
