You have to transfer your domain to this host for $15, this is not good.

Would rather prefer to pay for hosting than transfer my domain.

Hey Everyone.
I"ve been hosting with Infinity for over a year now and they are GREAT!!!!! Their tech support is AMAZING!

I have not had any problems with their services, but when I needed help setting up my site, learning the control panel, etc. they were really nice in assisting me. I don't think a support ticket took longer than 4-7 hours. Most of the time I recieved a response within an hour or 2.

I wish I could get this deal...its almost worth it for me to register a new domain just to get the free hosting

i mean this is free hosting man and your hosting isnt free cause you have to pay to transfer your domain... i mean if someone wants free hosting cause thye dont have money ....what makes yo uthink they will have a domain?

Thanks for that question. The problem with that is there's no possible way to screen people. If we offer free hosting via subdomains we could run into issues, such as "spamming", "warez", and other "illegal" activities. Where as in this case, someone has to register for a domain, via a Credit Card and validate it with a correct address and other information. We are just doing this so that our great services are not deminished by the misuse of individuals.

A domain costs $15. If someone does not have money for a web site we suggest using Yahoo!'s Geocities. We provide superb 24/7 tech support where you will recieve a friendly response ASAP, unlike Yahoo! and most other free hosting serviced web site (offering a subdomain).

My question to you is, would you not rather have your own domain name for $15 and get great FREE HOSTING with tech support? Is it really worth the $15 to go with Yahoo!?

Thank you for your opinion, however a lot of less internet savvy people would prefer to have a host take care of their domain. This helps ensure that their domain is re-registered and not forgotten about to be swiped up by a domain mongrole.
