I dont get it???

You are offering hosting of forums which people start up, advertise and run but it remains yours and not theirs?

"JTM Hosting" yet you don't even have a proper site? You site is hosted somewhere else and a sub domain - I think your forum is on a different host as well - why the name JTM Hosting??.

I know 000webhost is the host for those forums - but what do you get out of this??? I'm presuming you get something other than being admin on every forum and all forums being yours as you say in the terms???

People can directly register with 000webhost so I'm smelling something fishy ......

I am hosting Forums out of my own WebSpace on the 000WebHost servers. I just decided to start up a Hosting Service because of all of the people who have asked me how to make a forum. It gets really annoying to try to explain how to set up a Forum, so I am doing it for people, out of my own webspace, and they don't have to do a thing. All of my sites now except for my personal forum, which was set up before I knew about 000Webhost, are hosted on 000WebHosting. I have set up a FreeDNS Redirect with Cloaking for the Main Website, as well as another forum I have set up. The reason I have to be an Admin on all of the forums is because Its my *** on the line if there is any content in violation of the TOS. My point by saying the forums are mine is that they are on my hosting and I have say over it. All of that crap is to cover my *** in todays world. I don't get anything out of Hosting these forums. Try it out yourself if you don't believe me.

On a final note, the reason you are smelling something fishy is the same reason I have those terms in place.

Correct me if im wrong but could you not just write a blogpost or something like that explaining how to setup a forum?

Did you read the TOS of your host? And does it say you are aloud to share your webspace with other people? (most hosts require a reseller account to do so)

Most of the people I am referring to don't even know how to upload files via FTP. I dont have the time to write a novel on how to set up a forum. I have talked to the webhost. I made absolutely sure that it was ok with them.

I still don't trust this idea though, sorry if that sounds rude and i would advise people to be aware as well.

If you want people to host on your space, then why don't you buy some space properly and either use add-on domains / sub domains or at least make an effort to make the service look somewhat professional, in getting your own site hosted and have a page to advise them how to do it themselves on which ever host.

I'm sure you don't need to write a novel - in fact I'm certain you don't need to. Every single forum software, for example phpbb has got installation notes and every other software does to. If people come to you and ask you how to do it and you are pi$$ed off with that then I'm sure you can easily tell them to:

go to google and search "how to install phpbb

That alone throws up many answers. If telling people how to do it annoys you then I'm sure doing it for them and getting nothing out of it also annoys you, that's what leads me to think people need to be weary.

Eh, Doesn't bother me. Take it or leave it. Is there some kind of new rule that said I cant host forums because I feel like it? How exactly would I rip people off with free forums? "OOOOO, I just stole your Forum".
