Need free PHP Host w/o Ads
OK. Here's the deal. I've been using Tripod @ Lycos (http://www.tripod.lycos.co.uk/) and every time a load a page, the ad frame appears to the right, even in a page that already has an ad frame, so after loading only 3 or 4 pages, the screen is full of the ad frame and I can barely see my site.
I need: PHP4 (w/ mail function enabled, and mysql support) NO ADS (pop-unders OK) MySQL (optional) at least 5-10 Mb of space FTP and/or browser upload methods I''ve tried Portland and Tripod, and I can't sign up for coolfreepages.com Thanx in advance!

Hi! do u remember i told you Lycos ads "kill" the forum and personal areas?, i moved my forum to a free host called http://www.compactvision.com ; almost all the options you look for are there; 10 MB as space; but interesting with its as ons ("Horde " mail, stats, etc.)

Glad to help you
 I think it accepts; since it offers as free add-on 2 based webmails (cgi and php); anyhow, you can create a "test.php" in which there's one line : mail('etc','etc','etc');

Thank you! I am bi-lingual (English & Spanish)! Also, my site isn't up yte, I just ned someplace to test scripts and possibly put a temporary site until my actual one is done.

Hello Gushh! It seems u r from Argentina (sos, che); ok, but not everybody understands Spanish
 I do speak (only!) 6 languages, however, in public areas, I'd prefer use English; am I not right?About the free hosting, I think the best is compactvision : http://www.compactvision.com ; also you can try t35 : http://www.t35.com ; this last one offers unlimited space but allows only 200 KB per file; besides, "mail()' function is disabled and replaced by "email()". See and try... and Good luck!
