Post for hosting? Whats your opinion?
Okay, let sit down and talk .

What are your opinions on Post-For-Host companies? Why do you hate it? Why you like it?

Personally, I think its good because it gives you an active community, filter out most of the abusers.

It also help the support site, with a lot of members on the forum, they can help each other out, members don't have to wait for an admin everytime they need help .

It's nothing wrong in posting to get hosting the problem is to continue posting to get your host supported. I posted URL there about the need to continue posting to get your service supported. See there it's my 2¢

posting to get hosting is a good thing ,but to keep posting inorder to be hosted is not good ,

Seriously, what kind of quality do you expect from a host who relies on forced posting to take care of support questions?

I don't care if you come along later and clear up all the bull****, the fact that it's neccesary in the first place would be a major indication to me of what to expect in the future.

Maybe to some unskilled new wanna be "webmasters", your forum would appear impressive but to anyone else, it just appears that you aren't very dedicated to quality one on one customer service.

Well, every company has her own strategy with these.

I require my users to host banners and stuff. In my opinion just don't overload the user.

eg. 800x600 pixel Banner
or something like 2000 posts on the forums

Reasonable request that is benefitial to both parties should be be implemented.

Great to see that more people are getting the idea that.

Free is actually free* and not FREE.

FREE = I give you free, you can rip me off

It could also translate to FREE = ( 24/7 no support and 99.99% downtime :P )
Hosting a banner or making post on fa orum VS crappy support and long hours of downtime....
Which one would you choose??
